Traces (2012)Video (10:00) Traces is part of a window installation for the 90 year festivities of the Finnish town Pirkkala. In the video stencil-like shapes are animated over archive photography from the town history. Various professions, landscapes and moments of regional history form a tender portrait of a town.

Tourist Information(2013)Series of 8 photographs Tourist Information is a series of photographs molded by time and coincidence. Forgotten what I have filmed, I scan dusty negative photographs of journeys, trying to get out shapes and forms under the scratches. In these images memories form again into something freely associative, almost like abstract paintings.
